Al,

Thank you for your comment and for reading my blog. However, in this entry, I was not talking about Matti’s origins but his hair cut, which had the shape of what we called a dutch boy hair cut back in the day. Matti is of Estonian origin born in Sweden and we were in grade 5 and 6 together at Wellesley Public School and occasionally walked home together.

er, um.... Matti was far from being a blonde little dutch boy. He was born in Sweden - might want to update your blog entry.

Rubin - love your writing & thanks for mentioning me. I enjoyed very much talking with you on pub night at the school. Let's have another reunion in 2 years just for us 60's grads. We are the most enthusiastic and we should get together again!!! We don't need the fancy dinner/band just a place to meet and share memories and laughs. There was not enough time.

Regretfully I was unable to attend the reunion, thus really enjoyed reading your blog. Your observations are so true, we really didn't appreciate all the various personalities that surrounded us, yet they all touched us somehow. Hope there will be just a "Sixties Reunion".

We may be gray, but we're still 'enthusiastic' ;-)

2032 will be here before we know it!

Like you, I found the day went quickly. So many memories, names, faces. It hardly seems like 42 years have past. I really enjoyed your comments. Only 25 years until the next one.

This message for Rubin Friedman, class of 1964 + 1966. His personal blog can be found at: http://www.rubinfriedman.com/blog, and I will leave this message on Rubin's personal blog web site. I really enjoyed reading your personal comments about the Jarvis Collegiate 200th. I am going to tell all my pals to read your blog comments because they are so funny, so relevant and so very interesting, especially your personal observations about all our class mates from 43 years ago. I will have to go back and read your Jarvis2007 blog again when I get a few cans of spare time. I had a big blast of a good time during the weekend and it all passed too fast. Ann Onu says we need to do it again before we all start pushing walkers. I spoke to the two principals, Mr. Andrew Gold and Mrs. Paulene McKenzie and one of them told me that our gang, the decade of the 1960's was the most enthusiastic of all the attendees. As I look at all the photographs, I am reminded of a real good time at the Jarvis2007 event. I will have to check back on Rubin's blog to see if any other comments are added. End for now.
